Grammy award winning singer songwriter Melissa Manchester will tour Australia from late October.

Melissa kicked off her career in the early 70s as a backing singer for Bette Midler. Barry Manilow was the piano player in Bette’s band at the time. She later starred with Bette Midler in the movie ‘For The Boys’

After signing her own contract with Arista Records Melissa went on to have her own hits with ‘Don’t Cry Out Loud’ and ‘You Should Hear How She Talks About You’, the latter earning her a Grammy Award.

Melissa also co-wrote ‘Whenever I Call You Friend’, a hit for Kenny Loggins and Stevie Nicks.
