It is indeed a sad day for Australian Music.
VALE Michael Weiley …your legacy of music will live on!

Mike Weiley, Cliff Grigg and Crain Bloxom formed V Spy Vs Spy in Sydney in 1981. They were signed to their first recording deal through Midnight Oil’s Powderworks label. The debut V Spy V Spy album ‘Harry’s Reasons’ was released in March 1986.

The second V Spy V Spy album ‘A.O. Mod TV. Vers.’ was released through Warner in December 1986. It featured the hit ‘Don’t Tear It Down’.

V Spy V Spy became an important part of moulding the Sydney pub rock scene of the 80s.

By 1983, the band stalled, then picked up some momentum in 1984 with Weiley, Bloxom and Crigg continuing together through until 2003. Weiley resurrected V Spy V Spy in 2006 with Bloxum and Crigg.

Toto Returns To Melbourne #Review

Toto’s 2025 setlist focuses on the heritage of the band. The setlist was interesting. Compared to how it was curated for Australia in 2019 this time Toto kept to the albums of the 1900s. Mind you, there were no complaints from the audience for doing that. The biggest hits came from those early years.
