Mick Harvey (Bad Seeds, PJ Harvey) follows Gotye to deliver the keynote at self-management workshop, I Manage My Music.
The next music self-management workshop weekend I Manage My Music takes place on February 25 and 26 at the Northcote Town Hall and will feature longtime Nick Cave and PJ Harvey collaborator, and solo artist, Mick Harvey.
Also appearing throughout the weekend are artist, festival curator, and broadcaster Sophia Brous; online media master Ned Dwyer; musician and PBS Music and Interviews manager Chelsea Wilson; and label veteran Ashley Sambrooks. The workshops will be facilitated by longtime self-managed artist Jen Cloher.
The workshops are intensive and exclusive, limited to only 15 places so that participants get close personal attention. Musicians wanting to take care of their own business can book at the website here.
Previous speakers in earlier workshops include Carlo Santone of Blue King Brown, Gareth and Fiona of The Drones, Chapter Music’s Guy Blackman, Triple R’s Jacinta Parsons, AIR GM Nick O’Byrne, Triple J producer Amanda Chappelow, and Wally De Backer a.k.a. Gotye.
