Brad Paisley is known as a world-class guitarist in the country field and has, on occasion, branched outside the genre like on June 18, 2013 when he took the stage with the Rolling Stones in Philadelphia to perform Dead Flowers.
“To me they are the greatest rock band and one of the Top country bands,” Brad Paisley said about the Rolling Stones. “The reason they do it well is they don’t change when they do something. They don’t morph into a country band. They do it their way”.
The Stones’ Mick Jagger evidently enjoyed the concert encounter as he has returned the favor on the new Paisley album Love and War. Brad has a number of guests joining him on the set including Timbaland on two tracks, John Fogerty and the country icon Bill Anderson.
