Mick Jagger is on the mend. Sir Mick underwent surgery to replace a heart valve this week and now says he is “feeling much better”.
“Thank you everyone for all your messages of support, I’m feeling much better now and on the mend – and also a huge thank you to all the hospital staff for doing a superb job,” he said in a Tweet.

The Rolling Stones tour was due to start in Florida on April 20. The Stones insist the tour will be rescheduled and based on the surgery results fans can maybe look forward to a summer show. “We apologize for any inconvenience this causes those who have tickets to shows but wish to reassure fans to hold onto these existing tickets, as they will be valid for the rescheduled dates, which will be announced shortly.”
Meanwhile other upcoming Stones projects include the live DVD Bridges To Bremen recorded in Germany during the Bridges To Babylon tour of 1997 and 1998. The DVD will be released on 21 June, 2019.
The new Stones compilation ‘Honk’ will be released on 19 April, 2019.
