Coldplay should have the number one album in Australia this week and Justice Crew are looking like returning for a third week at the top of the singles chart.

it looks likely that Justice Crew will be spending a third week at No.1 on the ARIA Singles chart with “Que Sera”, giving them their longest run at the top in Australia, beating the two weeks their first chart-topper “Boom Boom” achieved in 2012.

Sia and her “Chandelier” was sitting at No.10 this week, but with her ‘Ellen’ performance going viral, it looks like the track could bounce back up into the Top 5, maybe even higher, whilst the release of the new Coldplay album could see former No.5 single “Magic” (TW-17) bounce back up into the Top 5 this weekend, whilst ZHU could retain his top five status, he might also be joined by Milky Chance with “Stolen Dance” (TW-9) within the five.

Retaining their Top 10 status should be Ariana Grande & Iggy Azalea, alongside Sam Smith and Sheppard and possibly Ed Sheeran, whilst potential entrants to the ten could be Mr. Probz with “Waves” (TW-15) and the fast climbing “Am I Wrong” for Nico & Vinz (TW-29) could leap into the ten this coming weekend.

With the new album for The Amity Affliction “Let the Ocean Take Me” due in the first week of June, the band have released a second track from the album entitled “Don’t Lean on Me”, which could enter within the Top 20 this week, whilst the albums first release “Pittsburgh” (TW-78) could rebound back into the Top 50. And after falling from 11 to 25 this past week, the Coldplay track “A Sky Full of Stars” could rebound back into the Top 20.

Tove Lo jumped to No.55 with “Stay High” this past week, but it could leap into the upper end of the Top 30 this weekend, whilst Illy seems to be climbing again this week with “Tightrope” (TW-33) which is already his highest charting single to date. Kiesza and her track “Hideaway” was up almost thirty places this past week to No.54, and now it looks set for another almost-thirty jump into the lower end of the Top 30, and the first taste from Dami Im (X-Factor winner 2013) this year looks set for a Top 40 debut, entitled “Super Love”.

Coldplay’s TV special for their new album and its release could trigger an onslaught of new and older tracks to chart this week. At the moment selling well are “Viva la Vida” and “Paradise” (Top 60), “Yellow” and new track “Always in My Head” (Top 70), “Fix You” (Top 80), “Clocks” (Top 90) and further new album tracks are lower down with “O”, “Ink” and “True Love”.

‘The Voice: Blind Auditions’ finished up last night (Tuesday) and several songs could chart this week from the show, including the rise of “Royals” for Lorde, Chantal Kraviazuk and the song “Feels Like Home”, Beyonce with “Halo”, and Crowded House with “Fall at Your Feet”.

The Kooks could debut with a new track entitled “Naïve” (Top 70), Lana Del Rey with her rendition of “Once Upon a Dream” originally from the Disney ‘Sleeping Beauty’ (1959) film and now used in the film starring Angelina Jolie called ‘Maleficent’. Pharrell Williams could see a third entry from his ‘G I R L’ album entitled “Come Get it Bae” with Miley Cyrus as guest vocalist, Jennifer Lopez with “First Love”, Michael Jackson with “Slave to the Rhythm” thanks to the performance of the song at the 2014 Billboard Music Awards, Kimbra with “90’s Music” and maybe Kim Churchill with his track “Window to the Sky”.

Albums:
The sixth studio album for Coldplay “Ghost Stories” looks set to become the bands fifth No.1 album in Australia this coming weekend, helped out by a TV special that could also launch their back catalog into the charts too.

At the moment their former releases “Mylo Xyloto” (Top 20), “A Rush of Blood to the Head” (Top 30), “Parachutes” and “X & Y” (Top 40) and finally “Live 2012” and “Viva La Vida” (Top 50) are all selling well, and could return this week to the albums chart.

Retaining their Top 10 status this week should be Michael Jackson (now with a full week of sales), the ‘Frozen’ soundtrack, The Black Keys and Chet Faker, whilst we could see a rise into the Top 10 for ZHU and his “The NightDay” EP (TW-18), and maybe just landing outside could be Boy & Bear with “Harlequin Dream” (TW-64) and Illy with “Cinematic” (TW-52).

Rascal Flatts new EP “Rewind” could land within the top end of the Top 40, and we could see a return for the Sia compilation “The Best of” (HP-27, April 2012) in the same region and in the lower forty another best of returning for Sunday nights ‘60 Minutes’ interviewee and The Voice judge Ricky Martin and his “Greatest Hits”, whilst the self titled album for Mick Lindsay could land a Top 50 entry.

Another self-titled set in the form of Mink Mussel Manticore could debut within the Top 60 and there may be entries for soundtracks to the films “Bad Neighbours” and “Chef”, whilst the new Chromeo album “White Woman” could all enter within the Top 70. Further down their could be new entries from Dirty Loops with “Loopified”, Northeast Party House with “Any Given Weekend” and the debut album for UK singer Nick Mulvey (debuted at #10 on the UK Albums chart this week) entitled “First Mind”.
