Mike Noga to Tour Songs from All Three Solo Albums

The Drones’ Mike Noga is going on tour to play songs from all of his three solo albums for the first time.

Noga was the drummer for The Drones for a decade from 2004 to 2014. His first album ‘Folk Songs’ was released in 2004. ‘The Balladeer Hunter’ followed in 2011. Then came the third album ‘King’ in 2016.

‘King’ was a concept album based on George Bücher’s 1830s play ‘Woyzeck’. The album, produced by Paul Dempsey of Something for Kate, was narrated by Almost Famous, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory actor Noah Taylor.

Noga will release a fourth solo album in 2019.

15 December, Melbourne, Merri Creek Tavern
21 December, Hobart, The Homestead

Captain Fighting Machine, the new project for The Gin Club’s Conor McDonald, will open in Ballarat, Melbourne and Hobart.
