Faith No More frontman Mike Patton will head to Sydney in January for the Sydney Festival.

Mike Patton of Faith No More and Mondo Kane

Patton will perform as Mondo Cane with an orchestra, band and choir playing songs from the 50s and 60s at the State Theatre in Sydney on January 16 and 17.

The Sydney Festival will run from January 7 to 29, 2012.

Over the weeks you can also see Washington, Grizzly Bear’s Chris Taylor performing as CANT, J. Mascis, Lambchop, Beth Orton, Dan Deacon and PJ Harvey.
