Miley Cyrus To Headline First iHeartRadio Australia Music Festival

Miley Cyrus will headline the first iHeartRadio Music Festival to be held in Sydney in October.

KIIS 1065 and the Dainty Group will present the first iHeartRadio Australia Music Festival with Redfoo, rapper The Miracle and DJs The Faders putting in 6 hours of performance from 4pm October 18 at Sydney’s Allphones Arena.

ARN’s CEO Ciaran Davis said, “iHeartRadio’s streaming music and digital radio service brings artists and fans closer like never before and the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, packed with adrenaline-pumping performances, is truly an event like no other. We’re really excited that we can bring this festival to Australia.”

Chairman of Dainty Group, Paul Dainty added, “We are absolutely thrilled to be working with iHeartRadio Australia to launch this brand new festival for music fans. This has been many months in the planning and we are incredibly grateful for the support of Miley Cyrus and the Australia Radio Network to bring this to life in such a massive way.”

The Australian Radio Networked launched iHeartRadio in Australia in late 2013. The digital service streams all of ARN’s Australian radio stations including KIIS 1065 and WSFM Sydney, MIXFM Melbourne and the Pure Gold network, New Zealand’s TRN and America’s Clear Channel stations.

iHeartRadio is also the home of iHeartRadio Music News, powered by Noise11.com.

The iHeartRadio Australia Music Festival is on Saturday October 18 at Allphones Arena Sydney. Tickets will be available from September 4 through Ticketek.
