Milky Chance rose from nowhere to grace the charts worldwide with ‘Stolen Dance’. This week they debuted their new video ‘Flashed Junk Mind’.
Milky Chance clocked up 85 million Spotify streams and 65 million YouTube views for ‘Stolen Dance’. The song went double-platinum in Australia, Canada, Germany and The Netherlands and gold in Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, New Zealand, and Switzerland. It is Top 10 on iTunes in over 50 countries.
They were also recently nominated for “Best German Act” by the 2014 MTV European Music Awards.
Milky Chance are German duo Clemens Rehbein as vocalist and musician and Philipp Dausch as DJ.
Rehbein and Dausch met at school and finished their education at Jacob-Grimm-Schule in Kassell in 2012. They were also part of the jazz quartet Flown Tones where Clemens played bass and Philipp was the guitarist.
‘Flashed Junk Mind’ is the third single from the debut album for Milky Chance ‘Sadnecessary’.
