Missy Higgins is heading back to her hometown of Geelong to perform a benefit show for Casey Tutungi, who suffered a spinal injury while playing football.
Casey was injured several months ago playing for South Barwon in Geelong.
Missy will join the You Am I Allstars, Something For Kate’s Paul Dempsey, Regurgitator, Lisa Mitchell, Adalita, The Bamboos, Dan Sultan and Yacht Club DJs for A Show For Casey.
“I’m really happy to be supporting Casey and performing in Geelong again, a place I have many memories. There’s a great lineup of performers set to play, so it should be a very memorable evening,” Missy said in a statement.
A Show For Casey will happen on September 29 at Simonds Stadium in Geelong.
