Molly Meldrum’s long-time coming biography will finally be released this November.
‘The Never Um… Ever Ending Story’ started in the 90s and for one reason or another was continually delayed.
The story, articulated by Melbourne music writer and close friend of Molly, Jeff Jenkins, reveals an incredible story that traces Molly’s life as a music fan to music journalist, to record producer and then host of the national TV show Countdown where he became a household name.
Molly was equally at home interviewing Iggy Pop or Prince Charles. The worked for The Beatles, counted Madonna and Elton John amongst his friends and maintained a lifelong love of football and his beloved St Kilda team.
‘The Never Um…Ever Ending Story’ will be available in November through Allen & Unwin.
