Ian Molly Meldrum was returned to his Richmond home after two months in hospital after his fall before Christmas.
Molly checked out of the Epworth Post Traumatic Amnesia Unit this afternoon after a four-week stay at the facility.
Before that he was being treated for his horrendous injuries at the Alfred Hospital since the accident in mid-December.
Molly suffered multiple injuries including a fractured vertebrae, collar bone and ribs when he fell while hanging Christmas lights in December.
While it was touch and go for a while, the music guru made remarkable progress and was eventually upgraded from the Intensive Care Unit to a ward and then onto the Epworth.
He is expected to continue his healing process for most of the year and is not expected back at work anytime soon.
