Mona Foma has revealed first dates for its new location of Launceston with a money-back guarantee for Southern Tasmanians.

Before announcing the line-up Southern Tasmanians can buy now and get a refund later if they don’t like the line-up.

On the move to Launceston, Brian Ritchie, Curator, Mona Foma, said, “We have been enthralled with the hospitality, infrastructure, natural beauty and general quirkiness of Launceston. We’re working with new venues and artists; and we’re really looking forward to sharing this Mona Foma with our festival-goers. We’re excited to say we’ve landed on a festival that will be identifiably Mofo—with a Launceston bent.”

Southern Tasmanians can grab an early-bird Launceston festival pass for $79. A Southern Tasmanian is defined as south of Campbell Town. The offer is valid until midnight Sunday 23 September.

The 2019 festival program will be announced Friday 12 October with tickets on sale Monday 15 October.
