Mondo Rock to Reunite Again for Hits Baby Hits Tour

Mondo Rock will tour again in 2019. Ross Wilson, Eric McCusker, James Black and Paul Christie together with Gil Matthews on drums, have set aside August 2019 for shows in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia.

Between 1979 and 1990 Mondo Rock generated nine Top 40 hits and four Top 10 albums (including the first best of ‘Up to the Moment’.

The first Mondo Rock hit song in 1981, Eric McCusker’s ‘State of the Heart’, was a hit for Rick Springfield in the USA in 1985. Ross Wilson’s 1982 ‘Nuovo Mondo’ album track ‘A Touch of Paradise’ became a no.27 hit for John Farnham and featured on Farnham’s ‘Whispering Jack album.
