Australia’s Monks of Mellonwah got up close and cosy for Chicago’s 95 WIIL Rock recently.
The Sydney band visited the studios of 95.1FM to perform two songs ‘You Shine’ and ‘Ghost Stories’ acoustically.
Sydney’s Monks of Mellonwah formed in 2009 and released their first EP ‘Stars Are Out’ in 2010. The debut album ‘Turn The People’ was recorded across 2012 and 2013 with tracks produced by Keith Olsen (Fleetwood Mac, Ozzy Osbourne) in Los Angeles.
The band has also received generous airplay in the USA via Sat Bisla’s syndicated program Passport Approved.
Monks of Mellonwah have now returned home to Sydney after a 35 date US tour with Scott Stapp, Sevendust and Saving Abel. They will return to the US in 2015.
