Morrissey 25: Live at Hollywood High, the concert film that chronicles the singers March 2, 2013 show at Hollywood High School in Los Angeles, will get a theater date across the U.S. before coming to DVD.
SpectiCast, who has partnered with DVD company Eagle Rock, will send the film to cinemas around the world on August 29. The show was among Morrissey’s last before doctors orders forced him to cancel the rest of his North American tour and was shot using the latest digital technology.
Mark Rupp of SpectiCast said “We are delighted to again be working with Eagle Rock Entertainment on Morrissey 25: Live From Hollywood High, showcasing one of music’s most intriguing figures, playing live at the Hollywood High School in to a legion of loyal fans.”
More details, including the theaters where the film will be shown, should be announced soon.
