Motley Crue’s soundtrack to their biopic ‘The Dirt’ is out this week and so is the movie.
‘The Dirt’ soundtrack includes four new Motley Crue songs including the title track featuring Machine Gun Kelly, who stars as Tommy Lee in the movie.
“During the filming of our movie we got excited and inspired to write new music,” said Nikki Sixx. “Getting back in the studio with Bob Rock just fueled the creative fires for us. To me, the music sounds like classic Mötley. The lyrics were written for the movie and are a reflection of our life.”
The other new songs from the movie are “Ride With The Devil,” “Crash And Burn” and a cover of Madonna’s, “Like A Virgin.”
‘The Dirt’ is based on the 2001 Motley Crue autobiography by the band with Neil Strauss. It is directed by Jeff Tremaine (JACKASS co-creator) with Nikki Sixx (Douglas Booth), Mick Mars (Iwan Rheon), Tommy Lee (Colson Baker aka Machine Gun Kelly), and Vince Neil (Daniel Webber).
