Zoran Trivic of rockers Gyroscope has broken both his legs in a motorcycle accident, postponing their Perth benefit show.
The band were preparing for their first hometown show this year, a benefit for Trivic’s cousin Dana Vulin who was badly burned during a violent home invasion two months ago.
Now Trivic himself has fallen foul of terrible luck when he was hit by a car while riding a motorcycle on Monday. The accident badly broke both his legs, and he will undergo three to four months of rehabilitation and operations.
The benefit was due to take place on Friday 1 June, but has now been postponed to September 22.
It will still take place at The Rosemount Hotel in Perth, both supports The Scotch Of St.James and Boston & Chevy will still appear, and all purchased tickets are still valid for the new date.
