Motörhead have revealed the first taste of their new ‘Under Cöver’ album with their cover of David Bowie ‘Heroes’.
‘Under Cöver’ is a collection of Motörhead covers recorded over the years. “Heroes” was recorded during the Bad Magic sessions in 2015 by Cameron Webb, and was one of the last songs the band recorded together.
“It’s such a great Bowie song, one of his best, and I could only see great things coming out of it from us, and so it proved to be,” says Phil Campbell, “and Lemmy ended up loving our version.”

Meanwhile at the German heavy metal festival Wacken in the weekend, 70,000 fans paid tribute to Lemmy singing ‘Hereos’. Motorhead’s cover of ‘Heroes’ was the official theme for this year’s festival.
