Mi-Sex keyboard player is in a stable condition following his Stroke while onstage at the Mi-Sex A Day On The Green in the Yarra Valley last week.
Updating fans, bass player Don Martin has posted:
“Thanks for the 100’s of enquires about Murray and for the love and prays that are flowing his way. He did have a stroke and this has affected his right side.
“The hospital say it will still be a few days till they know the full impact but he is mentally fine.
“The good news is today he impressed everyone by lifting his right arm over his shoulder, when yesterday he was just moving his thumb.
“Will keep you updated…”
Burns is a founding member of Mi-Sex with Steve Gilpin and Kevin Stanton. Gilpin died after a car accident in November, 1991. He was left in a coma and passed away in January, 1992.
Mi-Sex formed in New Zealand in 1978. They are best known for the number one hit ‘Computer Games’.
