51 tracks of Australian punk spanning 40 years has been compiled for ‘Stranded: The Chronicles of Australian Punk’.

Australia pre-dated The Sex Pistols with The Saints and this album kicks off with that moment in time when Brisbane, Australia was the punk centre of the world.

What followed quickly was a unique Australian brand of punk with bands like Radio Birdman. The Hard-ons and Screaming Tribesman and a succession of acts like The Meanies, The Living End, Sunnyboys and Cosmic Psychos who uphold the tradition today.
