Former Beach Boys legend and co-founder Brian Wilson will perform the band’s classic ‘Pet Sounds’ at Bluesfest in March.
Wilson is the latest act added to the iconic Australian music festival over Easter.
Also confirmed for Bluesfest are The Residents Present Shadowland, Nathaniel Ratelff & The Night Sweats, Shooglenifty and Taj Mahal.
Bluesfest’s headline act (so far) is Kendrick Lamar with Tom Jones, The National, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, UB40, Joe Bonamassa, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Melissa Etheridge, City and Colour, The Decemberists, The Cat Empire and Jackson Browne also scheduled to perform.
Bluesfest 2016 will be held from March 24 to 28 at Byron Bay.
Meanwhile Beach Boys fans, founding member Mike Love will return to Australia this month for a national tour featuring a 40+ setlist of Beach Boys classics.
