Britney Spears has shown off her figure in two new bikini snaps.
Spears hit headlines last week when she shared a picture of herself in a skimpy two-piece. In the snap, Toxic singer Britney was seen laying by the edge of the pool with her back arched to display her slim frame. However, eagle-eyed fans were quick to point out that the tiles at the pool’s edge appeared to have been erased, leading to allegations that the bikini snap had been digitally improved.
As she enjoyed her Easter Sunday in Hawaii, Britney treated her fans to some more bikini pictures in the wake of the photoshop controversy.
These snaps showed the mother-of-two flaunting her washboard stomach in a turquoise and white two-piece as she splashed in the water with her sons. One was taken from the front while another shot showed Britney’s enviable physique from behind.
Britney wore her blonde hair tied up for the shots, while shielding her eyes from the sun with dark glasses.
She captioned the pictures with three emojis – a palm tree, a bikini and a shining sun.
Both pictures drew attention to Britney’s incredibly flat stomach and her muscular shoulders and torso – the result of a rigorous exercise regime and nightly shows in Las Vegas as part of her Piece of Me residency.
Speaking previously about staying in shape, Britney told Women’s Health magazine that since having her sons, 10-year-old Sean Preston and nine-year-old Jayden James, she has had to up her workout plans.
“My hips are a little bit wider because I’ve had kids. So it was crucial for me to be continuous with my exercise,” she said. “Consistency is key. Daily exercise is important for me both mentally and physically. I don’t mind working out. Trainers keep you motivated, but I didn’t have a problem being motivated.”
