Disturbed 2016 New Zealand Show Cancelled

by Paul Cashmere on December 22, 2015

in Live,News

The 2015 Disturbed show for Auckland, New Zealand has been cancelled in the wake of the Soundwave disaster.

Disturbed were to perform the one-off New Zealand date after the Australian headlining tour of Soundwave.

In a statement at the band’s Facebook page Disturbed confirmed plans for an Australian and New Zealand tour later in 2016. “We are extremely disappointed that we will not be coming to Australia in January to perform on the Soundwave Festival. Plans are in the works for a more extensive Australian tour and we will keep you posted as soon as possible. See you in 2016!”

Frontier Touring, the Australian based New Zealand promoter for Soundwave released the following statement:

“We regret to inform that due to circumstances beyond our control, Disturbed’s Auckland headline show – scheduled to take place at Vector Arena on Thursday 28 January – has been postponed.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused. A revised date is being rescheduled and will be announced in the new year. If the new date is not suitable, rest assured ticketholders will be able to secure a refund.
While we encourage fans to hold on to their tickets, the option to secure a refund is now available to you via the show’s authorised ticketing agency, Ticketmaster.

Updates on the rescheduling of Disturbed’s Auckland tour date will be made available via frontiertouring.com/disturbed and facebook.com/frontiertouring once confirmed.
