Country Music Hall of Fame member Don Williams announced his retirement back at the beginning of the month and will release what is being called his final album, Don Williams in Ireland: The Gentle Giant in Concert, on April 15.
The new album samples some of the best known songs of an artist that reached the country top ten 44 times and the top ten on 17 occasions. Williams said “It’s my sincere hope that the fans will enjoy this package. My whole career has been about the fans, and hopefully these songs will bring them as much pleasure as I gained from performing them.”
The new release will come on CD in a 19-track package and on DVD with sixteen songs.
