Drake has been invited to the campus of Drake University in Iowa during his new tour later this year.
The rapper – real name Aubrey Drake Graham – will soon embark on his Summer Sixteen Tour, kicking off in Austin, Texas, on 20 July, and includes a stop in Des Moines, Iowa, on 4 October.
Ahead of his much-anticipated gig in the city, the college released a pun-filled statement on Friday, inviting the Hotline Bling hitmaker for a tour of the campus, Entertainment Weekly reports.
“Drake University students have lobbied for years to #BringDrakeToDrake, and we’re eager to welcome this talented singer and songwriter to our hometown. We would like to take this opportunity to invite Drizzy for a tour of campus, where we’re confident he will enjoy the Views,” reads the statement.
“Just as Mr. Graham has skyrocketed to the height of fame, our University started from the bottom in 1881 and rose to become one of the nation’s top-ranked private universities. Should he wish to take us up on our offer (because YOLO), Drake can reach our Admissions office at 1-800-44-DRAKE x3181. We’ll be waiting for that hotline to bling!”
