Elton John says he is inspired today by artists like Australia’s Sarah Blasko.
Elton was taking part in James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke segment for Corden’s Late Late Show in the USA when he name-checked Blasko.
“When you hear someone like Ed Sheeran or this girl called Grimes or there is a girl in Australia called Sarah Blasko, whenever you hear something new that inspires you from the young if makes you feel “I wanna do that”. So I still have the energy of a 20 year old and I want to carry on. Once you stop, you die,” Sir Elton said”.
When asked if he wakes up every morning knowing he is a legend he said, “I’m only looking forward I don’t look back.”
