Gene Simmons, even when he is playing solo, makes enough noise to annoy the neighbors.
Simmons played a private show on Saturday night, with assistance from KISS member Tommy Thayer, at the Beverly Hills home of Rohan Oza but, according to sources, the sound was loud enough to be heard all over the community.
Someone called the cops on the party and the Beverly Hills officers shut the concert down even though, reportedly, a DJ continued playing music. A police source told PageSix.com “The sound from Gene’s performance traveled all over Beverly Hills. The cops showed up because of the noise.”
The event was a benefit for “The Children Matter” and was organized by Simmons, Starkey Hearing Foundation and the charity.
