Skyhooks’ founder and principal songwriter Greg Macainsh gave an in-depth interview about the band to Noise11 this week and you can hear the interview on iHeartRadio’s Noise11 channel.
Greg has a very simple answer to why he wrote about places like Carlton, Balwyn and Toorak and not St Louis, Pasadena and Arkansas like other Aussie songwriters. He had never ventured outside Victoria when he wrote those songs.
He also talks about the meaning and inspiration behind songs like ‘Living In The 70s’ and ‘Ego Is Not A Dirty Word’ and indicates another live event is not out of the question.
Also this week at iHeartRadio, Pelle from The Hives calls in to talk about touring with AC/DC on the Rock Or Bust tour.
