Iggy Azalea insists her fiancé Nick Young’s comments that wedding planning is a “nightmare” are bogus.
The Australian rapper and basketball player announced their engagement in June 2015, but the only known detail about their nuptials is that Demi Lovato will be Iggy’s bridesmaid. In a recent interview Nick described preparing for the big day as a “nightmare”, adding he thinks they should just head to the courthouse.
When Iggy’s Twitter fan group screen grabbed the quote on its page, the musician had to chime in and clear things up.
“@TeamIggyAzalea reasons 34930492 why @NickSwagyPYoung is completely full of s**t. dont listen to him. lol. (sic)” she wrote back.

However, Iggy may be happier with his comment that weddings should be all about the woman, as he believes, even after “compromising and arguing”, the bride “always wins”.
The screen shot also included Nick discussing his future wife’s new record, Digital Distortion. It’s set to drop this year (16) and the sportsman was happy to share his opinion on the album.
“Aw man, it’s gonna be the best album of 2016,” he gushed during his interview with Billboard. “I got my Swaggy P feature on it so that’s why it’s gon’ blow up. I see how hard she be in the studio and I heard a couple songs. Couple surprises and a lot of features on there. It’ll be dope.”
It wasn’t just Iggy’s material Nick commented on; he also touched upon Kanye West’s shout out to him in track Facts. The rapper makes reference to Swaggy P in the song, the sportsman’s nickname, and Nick’s Los Angeles Lakers teammate Jordan Clarkson has seen his pal’s reaction firsthand.
“I can hear Nick rapping that line through all shoot around tomorrow and during the game he losing his mind right now lol (sic)” Jordan tweeted recently.
