Jack Black suffered the worst celebrity death of all on the weekend … death by hacker.
The Tenacious D Twitter page on Sunday had the post, “I’m sad to officially annouce the death of Jack Black at the age of 46, rest in peace brother”.

A second post came minutes later stating “#RIPJackBlack”.

Fans of Black and his band Tenacious D were left for seven hours wondering what was going on until someone woke up at Tenacious D HQ and posted “WE had our Twitter account hacked. We can assure you that Jack is ALIVE and WELL and that this was a sick “prank”.

Tenacious D will appear at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark on June 30 and July 1 Bravalla Festival.
