Jackson Browne has paid tribute to Glenn Frey with the song they wrote together, the classic ‘Take It Easy’.
Browne and Frey used to live in the same block of flats in the early 70s. There one and only collaboration became one of Eagles biggest songs and was then recorded by Browne for his second album ‘For Everyman’.
Browne wrote the original song but was confronted by writers block so it missed his first album. Frey finished it off, adding the verse featuring the line “it’s a girl, my Lord, in a flatbed Ford”.
