John Mellencamp has abruptly cancelled his June tour of Australia.
Seven dates were set for down under on his Plain Spoken Tour but those have been pulled off the schedule for not stated reason. Mellencamp’s website simply says “The John Mellencamp “Plain Spoken Tour” that was scheduled for June is cancelled. All tickets will be automatically refunded.”
His website goes on to say:
Tickets Purchased by Credit & Debit Cards
Tickets purchased by credit or debit card will be refunded in full (including your ticket insurance premium, if relevant) and you do not need to take any action. Please allow up to 10 working days for the refund to appear in your account.
Tickets Purchased by Cash & EFTPOS
If you purchased tickets by cash or EFTPOS Ticketek or Ticketmaster will be in contact with details of how to obtain a full refund.

06/14 – Perth – HBF Stadium
06/16 – Adelaide – Adelaide Entertainment Centre
06/18 – Sydney Allphones Arena
06/19 – Canberra – AIS Arena
06/22 – Melbourne – Rod Laver Arena
06/24 – Newcastle – Newcastle Entertainment Centre
06/26 – Brisbane – Convention Centre
