Kids In The Kitchen will reform to perform for Pure Gold Live in Melbourne in May.
Kids In The Kitchen only had two albums ‘Shine’ (1985) and ‘Terrain’ (1987) and generated seven top 40 hits in that time with ‘Change In Mood’ (no 10, 1983), ‘Bitter Desire’ (no 17, 1984), ‘Something That You Said’ (no 19, 1985), ‘Current Stand’ (no 12, 1985), ‘Shine’ (no 40, 1985), ‘Out of Control’ (no 33, 1986) and ‘Say It’ (no 31, 1987).
Kids In the Kitchen broke up in 1988.
The first Pure Gold Live show for 2016 has been announced with 17 acts that have collectively generated over 50 classics gathering for an all hit show for Melbourne.

Pure Gold Live 2016 will include a return appearance from 1927 and Eurogliders and a completely new line-up for Melbourne with not only Kids In The Kitchen back together but also original line-ups for Moving Pictures and Wa Wa Nee and a good chunk of Real Life for authenticity.
