Lemmy is back … in a milk ad in Finland.
Finnish diary company Valio has created an ad to pay homage to the late Motorhead frontman. The ad was created by Hasan Partners.
“This is offered in celebration of the life of a lovely, exceptional man – a man who celebrated life so vibrantly himself,” the company posted.
“We were first shooting a remake of an iconic Finnish milk ad. The tone of this ad was shot a month ago was changed to make it a heartfelt tribute, however modest.
“A take that came late in the shoot was selected – one of Lemmy’s brilliant improve moments that was never in the script.
“This was our musical encounter with a great man – and we’re honored to share it with the world”.
Lemmy made up this line as the shoot happened. “I don’t drink milk and I never will. You asshole.” It is what they have used.
The Lemmy funeral will stream live from LA at 3pm Saturday (10am Sunday East Coast Australian time).
