Mariah Carey is in a New York City hospital fighting off a reportedly severe flu.
According to TMZ, the singer appeared on Tuesday night at Pier 1 in New York, where she received $300,000 for a one hour appearance, but was ill and her management had her taken to the hospital where she was found to be dehydrated. Mariah is currently receiving fluids and may be released as soon as tonight.
It also appears that she is in better spirits by the post she made from the hospital on Wednesday afternoon:
