Michael Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato are expecting another son, the singer has confirmed.
Bublé announced he was to become a father for a second time in July (15). The couple already has son Noah, two, and on Wednesday (21Oct15), Michael revealed a little brother is on the way for the toddler.
“It’s a boy,” he told Entertainment Tonight Canada, before adding Luisana has vetoed the names Thor and Spider-Man.
Joking aside, the 40-year-old admitted he couldn’t wait for the latest addition of their family to arrive. Having seen how quickly Noah has grown up, Michael intends to soak up every single moment with his newborn when he makes his appearance.
“You know, Noah’s two and I already miss him when he was a baby,” he continued. “We love that part so much that how can we not want to have that again? And again, and again… I’m saying that now, let’s see what I say after two.”
Michael is clearly loved up with his little family and he surprisingly credits ex-girlfriend Emily Blunt for where he is in his life right now.
The singer dated the British actress from 2005 to 2008 but split amid allegations that he had cheated on her. While Emily has also moved on to a happy marriage with actor John Krasinski, she admitted earlier this month (Oct15) that her split from Michael was “complicated”.
“Emily is a beautiful and loving person, and I’m grateful for the time I had with her, for the relationship,” Michael explained before adding how their current respective relationships are the right ones. “Without it, I wouldn’t have had a chance to fall in love with myself enough to be with a woman like my wife. It didn’t end because of cheating. It ended because we weren’t right for each other, and we are now exactly where we’re supposed to be in our lives.”
