‘Neverland’, the Peter Pan inspired home of superstar Michael Jackson, is for sale for a not too shabby $100 million.
Neverland is situated in the Santa Ynez Valley, about 120 miles from Hollywood.
Jackson bought the 2500 acre ranch in 1987 for $19.5 million and added the private amusement park featuring rollercoaster, merry-go-round, ferris wheel and live animals.
The property is also the scene of the crime for Jackson’s child molestation allegations but that didn’t stop investment company Colony Capital buying Neverland for $19.5 million following Jackson’s death. It was then renamed Sycamore Valley Ranch.
Don’t expect to rock up for an “open for inspection”. All potential owners are being screened and negotiated with privately.
