A 1972 Daytona Ferrari, once owned by Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters, was stolen in Melbourne on Friday and later found torched.
The $2.5 million Ferrari was stolen was stolen from a mechanics workshop in the outer Melbourne suburb of Braeside in the early hours of Friday morning. Police found the car burnt out in Langwarrin after being alerted to a car on fire at around 4am Saturday.
Lady Hesketh in the UK originally purchased the car in June 1973. Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters then owned the car. Waters sold it to Mohamed Al Fayed for his son Dodi in the 90s. Dodi Fayed died in the car crash that also took the life of Princess Diana. The car’s UK license plate was PLL 10L.
The Australian owner of the car was restaurant owner and developer Enzo Ceravolo who bought the car five years ago. He had it fully restored only three weeks ago.

The red 1972 365 GTB/4 model Ferrari, which is valued at over $2 million, was extensively damaged in the blaze.
