Sam Smith has beat Brian Wilson, Ellie Goulding, Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth and David Lang to take home the Golden Globe for Best Original Song.
‘Writing’s On The Wall’ was written by Smith and Jimmy Napes for the 24th James Bond movie ‘Spectre’. The song became the first Bond theme to reach no 1 in the UK.
Towards the end of 2015 Radiohead revealed they also wrote a song for the movie but lost out to Smith. The Radiohead song is now available as a free download.
