Spiderbait will reform for a 25th anniversary tour in February 2016.
Spiderbait will mark the 25th anniversary of their first release with five capital city dates.
Spiderbait’s first single ‘Circle K’ was released in 1991.
‘Monty’ became the band’s first hit song peaking at no 44 in 1995.
Then in 1995, Spiderbait scored their first Triple J Hottest 100 position when ‘Buy Me A Pony’ was no 45 for the year in 1996.
‘Calypso’ was the first Spiderbait Top 40 hit peaking at no 13 in 1997.
America came calling for Spiderbait when ‘Shazam’ was featured in an episode of ‘Sex In The City’ in 1999.
Then ‘Black Betty’ went all the way to no 1 in 2004.
To mark their 25th Anniversary, Spiderbait’s Greatest Hits will be released as a vinyl double album.
