Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris will reportedly make an effort to spend time together over the holidays.
The musical duo was first linked at the 2015 Brit Awards in February, and quickly became inseparable. Both Taylor and Calvin are happy to gush about each other in interviews, but sources close to the pair say the romance has hit a slight bump in the road.
“Calvin and Taylor barely see each other face-to-face at the moment, and they’re starting to question if they can make it to the next year,” an insider told Britain’s Grazia magazine.
Luckily, with the holiday season in full swing, the pair are said to want to spend quality time together. Taylor has just wrapped her hugely successful 1989 World Tour, which she had been on the road with since May (15). She recently flew back from Australia, just in time for her 26th birthday last Sunday (13Dec15). Calvin was there to enjoy the Christmas-themed bash, held at Apple executive Jimmy Iovine’s home in Malibu, California. Posing with Santa Claus the pair looked loved up, and those close to them are hopeful any differences they have can be worked through.
“They are both looking forward to taking time out from their busy schedules to assess everything,” the source said. “Taylor, in particular, wants to make sure they’re both on the same page. They’re expected to spend some time together before celebrating with their respective families. They want to make it work but, at the same time, neither of them wants to really feel like they’re forcing it. It’s going to be a really testing time.”
