The Living End have revealed the video for ‘Keep On Running’ from their forthcoming ‘Shift’ album.
The story tells of “an old man in his late ’80s who lives a minimalist life but adheres to an incredible physical workout regimen that has kept his fitness levels beyond that of what a man his age would be expected to achieve,” say the band.
According to singer Chris Cheney, “Both the song and the video are like nothing TLE have done before. Yet they both embody the spirit of what this band represents.
“The video captures the message and feel of the song. The struggle, the fight, overcoming adversity and the need to keep on keeping on.”
Cheney wrote the song with his friends Dylan Berry and Stefan Litrownik. “We all have moments where life is getting the better of us, but that’s when you draw strength and come out the other side stronger,” he said.
‘Shift’ is the first album in five years for The Living End. It will be released on May 13, 2016.
