The video portion of the updated album 1 by the Beatles is just an amazing compendium of videos and performances from throughout the Fab Four’s career.
The 1+ edition was released on Sunday in a deluxe version and includes a performance by the band of their biggest hit in the U.S., Hey Jude. When released in 1968, the song went straight to the top of the charts (most likely with just a little help from the flip side, Revolution) and stayed their for nine weeks, the longest for any song in almost a decade.
Here, we see the Fab Four doing a bit of goofing around with talk show host David Frost before going to a taped version of the song with over 300 fans singing along in the studio.
