Fans who have bought tickets to see Janet Jackson live will now have to wait until 2017 for her show.
On Friday, a representative from events company Live Nation confirmed to Us Weekly the Love Will Never Do singer has once again delayed her Unbreakable World Tour.
“The Janet Jackson Unbreakable tour in North America will be postponed until 2017,” the spokesperson tells the outlet. “New dates will be announced at a later time, and tickets will be honored for the rescheduled dates. Refunds are also available at the point of purchase. Stay tuned to JanetJackson.com and LiveNation.com for further info.”
The announcement marks the second time this week the schedule for the concert series has been altered.
On Wednesday, Janet took to social media, telling fans in a video message she has decided to delay the entire second leg of her tour, which was due to kick off in Las Vegas in May (16), to focus on starting a family with her billionaire husband Wissam Al Mana, 41.
“We’re in the second leg of the tour and there has actually been a sudden change,” the 49-year-old R&B legend told fans in a Twitter video. “I thought it was important you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m gonna have to delay the tour.
“Please if you can try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders, but I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”
Janet did not clarify if she is actually pregnant, but if and when she is expecting, the child will be her first.
Before the postponements, the original schedule would have seen Janet perform around 75 gigs in Europe, Canada and the United States in 2016.
The ill-fated Unbreakable World Tour has been riddled with problems throughout – the Rhythm Nation singer first rescheduled the kickoff gigs so she could undergo throat surgery, then in March (16), she postponed her European dates three weeks before the trek was due to start.
