The boutique Boogie festival is hosting My Morning Jacket singer Jim James and newcomers Dawes in April, but now the full bands team up for a couple of sideshows.

Kentucky’s My Morning Jacket are no strangers to this nation, and no strangers to the stage, their psychedelic Southern roots rock jams regularly sending reviewers into paroxysms of praise.

Los Angeles four-piece Dawes are relative newbies, but have been also wowing crowds with their take on sun-drenched Americana folk.

Tickets for both shows are on sale now from at lovepolice, or Ticketek for Sydney and OzTix for Melbourne.
