Before the real Adele Australian tour is announced (and its not far off) Naomi Price will present Rumour Has It Adele Her Life And Songs in Melbourne.
Price, a contestant on The Voice 2015, had a long history of theatre before dabbling in reality TV with Ladies in Black (Queensland Theatre Company/Melbourne Theatre Company), Jesus Christ Superstar (QPAC/Harvest Rain), The Last 5 Years (Oscar Theatre Company), new Australian works The Tragedy of King Richard III (La Boite Theatre Company), Gloria (Queensland Theatre Company) and Wrecking Ball (the little red company).
‘Rumour Has It’ started as a 15 minute stand-up set in 2011 and ended up winning the Matilda Award for Best Musical or Cabaret.
As for the real Adele touring Australia? Its happening in early 2017. Expect an announcement shortly.
