Rapper Nas collaborated with Amy Winehouse on tracks in 2008 and he has just revealed one titled ‘Cherry Wine’.
Nas and Winehouse got together for recording sessions back in 2008 and one of the songs ‘Like Smoke’ saw the light of day on last year’s compilation Lioness: Hidden Treasures.
Now, as Nas prepares for his tenth album Life Is Good, he has revealed new song ‘Cherry Wine’ featuring Amy’s vocals. It was produced by Salaam Remi, who worked on Frank and Back To Black.
The song was premiered on BBC Radio 1 and there are a few rips of the tune here and there. The quality isn’t great but you can certainly get an idea of what we’re in for.
As well as Winehouse, Life Is Good features work from Drake, Rick Ross, Mary J Blige, Swizz Beatz and Heavy D. It will be released on July 17 through Def Jam.
