Nate Ruess of fun. will release his debut solo album in June even though his band have only released two albums.
In February fun. announced via their Facebook page that they have not split. “first and foremost to answer the question that has been raised most often: fun is not breaking up,” they stated on February 5.
Emphasizing the band is currently in solo project mode they added, “It’s also important for you guys to know that the 3 of us are very involved and supportive of all these different projects going on within the fun family at the moment”.
fun is Ruess with Andrew Dost and Jack Antonoff. Antonoff has written songs from Taylor Swift, Christina Perri and Tegan and Sara. Dost has been involved in movie scores.
Ruess will release his solo album ‘Grand Romantic’ in June.
